Donna Kim made a career of bringing her creative and artistic influences to life across pursuits as diverse as musical performance and education, wedding planning, invitation and graphic design, and bespoke food and drink offerings. At the core of all Donna’s engagements is her on-going passion and dedication to helping others.

A double major in Business and Music at Hofstra University, Donna began her career in orchestral management and private piano instruction and she has been a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Tanglewood Festival Chorus for over 27 years. She built an award-winning reputation as a high-end wedding and event planner over many years having designed and executed signature experiences at grand venues such as Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, the Chanler at Cliff Walk, Belle Mer – a Longwood Venue and numerous private residences. Her work as been  featured in several national and regional publications to include the Knot, Brides magazine and Flutter, and she has been privileged to work with some of the top vendors in the wedding industry.

Donna started baking for her wedding clients as part of their planning process in order to  offer  them a little surprise and to make their many meetings a touch more personal and special. Her love for spreading joy with her baking continues on as she bakes beautiful cookies and cakes that taste as good as they look. Donna is always up for a challenge and is constantly exploring new recipes and techniques in the kitchen inspired by her belief that everyone should be able to enjoy unique and tasty baked treats. Aware that each client is unique, Donna frequently researches and fine tunes recipes for those who have food sensitivities, allergies, or intolerances.

As a follow-on step related to her mission to help others, Donna has trained for and been certified as both an Usui/Holy Fire III, Karuna Reiki® Master and as an affiliate member of the (RMA) Reiki Membership Association. In addition, she is certified as an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist and Helping Children with Loss, an approach which provides parents and educators who work with children the necessary tools to help them effectively cope with their broken hearts, no matter what type of loss they are facing.

Donna’s balances her many talents with a keen sense of organization. She prides herself on her intuition, her honesty, and on being able to listen beyond the words being spoken. She is inspired to continue and extend her lifelong journey of help and support to others by now offering a range of  healing services such as reiki, the Grief Recovery Method and Helping Children with Loss –  delivered with her well-honed ability to build personal rapport and recognize her client’s unique stories and needs.
